Used car imports, done the right way.

We started UsedCarBase because the China-to-Ghana import market is full of middlemen, vanishing WhatsApp numbers, and cars that don't match their photos. We wanted a different model β€” one built around presence, verification, and genuine accountability.

Our founder spent years sourcing used vehicles from China for friends and family in Ghana. Every deal came with the same pain points: middlemen who disappeared after payment, cars that didn't match the photos, clearance bills that ballooned at Tema, and zero support once the keys changed hands.

So we built the operation we wished existed. A Ghana office in Accra staffed by Ghanaians. A sourcing partner in China who visits yards weekly. Third-party inspection reports on every featured vehicle. Live walk-around videos β€” not stock photos. Fixed CIF pricing. And the same WhatsApp contact a year after delivery.

We're small on purpose. Every customer gets the same three people β€” founder, sales partner, after-sale specialist β€” not a ticket queue. Over time we'll scale, but only in ways that don't dilute the accountability.

UsedCarBase is the operational partner we wish we'd had on our first import. That's the bar we hold ourselves to.
